Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions of hire carefully before placing your order with us.

1.  All equipment remains the property of Lincoln Tableware Hire.

2.  Prices quoted are for one event hire only.

3. Quotations are valid for 7 days from date of issue.  Payment is required for the date to be held and secured in our diary.  

4.  Payment is required in full up-front no later than 14 days before the event.  Cancellation of orders up to 14 days before the day of hire is chargeable at 50% charge.  Anything below this will result in the full hire charge.  

5.  A delivery fee will be charged at 45p per mile (return journey) from Branston, Lincoln to the delivery location.  The same will apply for collection of the hired goods following the event.  

6.  Upon delivery, a delivery note will be provided for signature to confirm the crockery received is in good condition.  The hirer is fully responsible for the crockery from the time of acceptance until return.  Adequate security should be arranged to prevent items being lost or damaged.  No insurance is provided by Lincoln Tableware Hire. 

7.  Delivery/collection of the hired goods will be arranged at the time of order.    

8.  Before collection, crockery must be wiped clean of food remnants after use, and glassware must be emptied before collection. Failure to do this may result in additional cleaning charges.

9.  Should the hirer wish to return the items washed, then a 25% discount will be taken off the initial invoice.  It is expected that they are washed to the standard that they were delivered in.  Failure to do this may result in additional cleaning charges.   

10.  Any breakages or damages of the items and containers/crates or missing items will be charged following the event hire at £2 per item.  An invoice will be sent to the hirer within 7 days of the event hire.  

11. No substitutes for items hired will be accepted.  

12.  The cost of cleaning items is clearly outlined on the Pricing page, please ensure items are returned as agreed to avoid additional cleaning costs.  ​

13. Should the hirer have have any concerns throughout the process, they must contact Lincoln Tableware Hire as soon as possible to arrange a solution.
